The Old Sod first drove a Fordson N nearly sixty years ago  Land Rovers came a few years later.

He suffers from a well known condition while standing near an auctioneer.  To his consternation his twitch gets him lumbered with all sorts of"junk".                                                                                                               

The  original idea of starting these Sortouts was to get some of this clutter moved

The real irony is that keeping the Sortouts running smoothly means he does not have time to sell his own clutter! 

Our  main priority is that BOTH Buyers and Sellers feel they have had a good day out.

There are three ways of judging this.

By the end of the day,  Do both Buyers and Sellers reckon they have had a fair deal?

Have most of the Buyerrs found something they have been looking for amongst what the Sellers have brought to the Sortout?  

Has everybody had an enjoyable day out? 

Have Sellers found new homes for much of what theybrought to sell?

As long as most of our visitors continue to answer with Yeses we will feel the Sortouts are running on the proper lines.
