Held on a working Dales Farm between Harrogate and Ripon. Quite rightly the needs of the farm take prority ober the Sortout so with regret there will not be a Sortout here in 2011 Make for Ripley on the Harrogate Ripon Road and follow the Sortout Signs on the B 6165 through “Bedlam” to “Burnt Yates” then bear right for “Brimham Rocks”

. The location makes it a good venue to sell BOTH Land Rover items and Vintage Agricultural Machinery. As so many different makes of 4x4 finish their working lives in the Dales some non Land Rover items are entered as well.
For the dedicated vintage enthusiast Cheffins will be holding their Vintage Sale the previous day nearby in Harrogate at the Great Yorkshire Showground. For sale visitors we can arrange overnight parking camping in the Sortout field on Saturday plain grass no hooks or facilities . Why not make a weekend of your visit to the Dales.?
The Vintage Sortout at Brimham builds on the long running Great Northern Land Rover Sortout . By adding a Vintage stalls to this established Sortout we can increase the choice for visitors. We have found many overlaps between Land Rover enthusiasts and Agricultural Vintage enthusiasts
Regulars tell us this is the most informal of the Sortouts helped by the our hosts who enjoy both interests.
The Sortout Selling Area is a grass field set in spectacular Dales scenery . Bring sensible clothing in case of wind, rain, or chill. Buyers of big or heavy items can tranship them on to their vehicles by arrangement later in the day when it is safe to do so.
Do you trade on the internet? A Sortout is an ideal place to meet up to save those delivery charges.
Our expression “Vintage Agricultural” encompasses anything you might have found included in a farm clearance sale held around forty years ago. Tractors and Stationary engines, spares, tools, implements, dairy equipment, sacks, literature, books, Ephemera, poultry equipment, trailers, furniture, and of course those two standbys of every farm sale “Misc” and “Quantity of scrap”.
As this is also a Land Rover Sortout we invite entries bringing anything Land Rover related. Many Sellers bring a mixture of Land Rover and Vintage items.
Pass prices include admission for the booked vehicle plus driver and one Helper in that vehicle.

There are no fixed spaces but you will be expected to set up where directed. in customary Sortout style. You may be surcharged if you take up an unreasonable amount of space. Any unloaded material must be displayed on a waterproof sheet.
If you are known to us as a Recogniosed Old Sodbury's Seller (ROSS) you should have had a booking form posted to you containing a special deal if you want to sell at more than one Sortout this Summer.
Land Rover Sellers who have been before are welcome back but if you have not sold at a Sortout before please ring first for a booking form and advice on making the most of the day.
